Top pub and great food, although I prefer the old menu the food is good. I've never used the motel but have heard good things about it
Too overcrowded on weekends can't relax and enjoy cold beer in peace and quiet
Amazing meals and super quick service! Love eating here when I come to town. Crispy Chicken is devine!!!
My family and friends have celebrated many occasions at the Forbes Inn - Birthdays, Anzac Days etc. When the owner took over many years ago, it was the place to go - great atmosphere, good staff and great food. Unfortunately, it has gone down hill rapidly over the past 5 years plus.Once again we gave it another try this past Anzac Day, we were a party of 10 - each and every one of us complained about the food served to us - i.e., I and 2 others had "Deep Fried" Lamb Cutlets, Instant Mashed Potato, large "Chunks" of Carrots and Cold Broccoli. The food is atrocious, the Chef/Cook needs to be changed rapidly!! To top it off no-one came to clear the tables and the Rest Rooms were "dirty".Sad to see this hotel deteriorate to this extent - Why?? - Bad Management?? Uncaring lazy staff?? Please rectify as this was "the place" to go in Forbes.
